National Cancer Survivors Day 2026

National Cancer Survivors Day® is an annual Celebration of Life honoring those with a history of cancer, bringing awareness to the continuous challenges faced by cancer survivors, and inspiring hope for the future.

National Cancer Survivors Day® is celebrated each year on the first Sunday in June. In 2026, NCSD took place on June 7.

This year, the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network, together with cancer survivors and partner organizations—including Al Carl of the Prostate Cancer Support Ottawa—received a proclamation from Mayor Sutcliffe recognizing June 7 as National Cancer Survivors Day in Ottawa.
