On September 25, 2026, KDocsFF and Salt City Advocacy are hosting an in-person community dialogue dedicated to breaking down barriers around prostate health awareness and prevention. Held at Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Surrey Conference Centre, this three-hour event brings together survivors, advocates, health professionals, and community members for honest, open discussions about what it means to prioritize men's wellness. This kind of dialogue is essential—especially when we consider that Black Canadian men face disproportionately higher rates of prostate cancer diagnosis and mortality. Creating safe spaces to talk, learn, and connect isn't just helpful; it's lifesaving.

Ms. Chan will provide information from the broader prostate cancer and mental health experience, to preliminary findings on men's health post-prostatectomy.
