The Medical Transportation Assistance Program (MTAP) provides financial assistance to beneficiaries of the Medical Care Plan (MCP) who incur substantial out-of-pocket travel costs to access specialized insured medical services unavailable in their immediate residence area and/or within the Province.
Supporting cancer patients
Cancer Care Foundation - Newfoundland and Labrador
Through the Patient and Family Support Fund, the Foundation is able to offer direct financial support to cancer patients who qualify to assist with these added expenses, allowing patients to focus on their treatment.
